The Cobalt Credit Union Board represents the membership in maintaining the general direction and control of the credit union, setting policies, and ensuring policies are properly implemented in accordance with all federal and state laws, sound business practices, and membership desires.

The Associate Director (AD) position is designed to supplement the knowledge and experience of the Board of Directors and to provide a structure to have qualified candidates available to fill vacant director positions or become adequately prepared to seek a nomination to be elected to a regular Board position. While ADs serve as non-voting members, they’re expected to attend monthly Board meetings and encouraged to participate in board discussions.
